The Monroe County Housing Authority (MCHA) owns and operates 180 subsidized housing units. These units are reserved for very low and low-income families. Residents who live in our subsidized housing units pay 30% of their monthly adjusted income for rent and utilities.  The Newport Village Apartments complex in Key Largo has 50 units ranging in size from 1-bedroom to 4-bedroom, and the Eastwind Apartments complex in Marathon has 130 units ranging from 1-bedroom to 3-bedroom.
