The Housing Authority of the City of Key West, Florida, currently owns and operates 503* units of affordable housing. The properties have income requirements and are available to low to moderate-income families. Rents are based on income brackets and are below that of comparable market-rate rentals. Our affordable housing units are located in some of the most desirable neighborhoods in Key West and range in style from apartments to townhouses to single-family homes.

The Housing Authority also owns and operates the Poinciana Gardens Senior Living Complex, a 106-unit, 3-tiered senior living community with 29 independent living apartments on the first floor, 31 fully-supported independent living apartments on the second floor, and 46 licensed assisted living units on the third floor. 

*2nd and 3rd floor units of the Frank P. Toppino Poinciana Gardens Senior Living Complex are not included in this number.
